ISC is currently seeking for symposia proposals.
A symposium provides an opportunity to share specific research issues, problems, or topics from a variety of perspectives. Here, scientific research outcomes, educational contents, case studies, alternative solutions, interpretations, or contrasting points of view on a specific subject or in relation to a common theme may be presented. A symposium is frequently interactive, and a large portion of it may be devoted to a dialog among the presenters and the discussants, questions and discussions among all those present, or a small-group interaction.
Under the virtual platform, symposium session duration is 60 minutes. If you need more slots, please propose an additional symposium session. And speakers and session organizers are required to submit pre-recorded video presentations in advance to the conference until June 30. The recorded presentation will be accessed by registrants during and after the conference up to one month online. There will be a live Q&A chat. And organizers are required to plan video Q&A at the end of the session using video conference tools and LOC will support hosting video Q&A services.
Symposia proposals for, but not limited to, the following categories are welcome:
The International Scientific Committee (ISC), chaired by Prof. Jeongim Park, Soonchunhyang University, will select proposals for a successful IOHA 2021 through blind referral. The selection criteria include the relevance of the topics; the scientific interest of the topics; and the proposers’ ability to share the topics to a broad, multidisciplinary audience. Preference will be given to symposia proposals that cover a topic from several angles and then present different views and opinions over those that simply present the work of the speakers.
The registration fee for symposia organizers will be covered by LOC.
If the registration fee of organizer does not have to be covered, the free registration can be transferred to one of their symposium speakers.
