Contract Provisions

1. SPONSORSHIP RULES AND REGULATIONS
A. In the rules and regulations for participation in the 12th IOHA International Scientific Conference, IOHA 2021, the “Funding Company” shall include all employees, servants, and agents of any individual company, partnership firm, or organization who have applied for a sponsorship and an online exhibition.
B. The “Conference” shall refer to IOHA 2021.
C. The “Organizer” shall refer to the IOHA 2021 Organizing Committee, which is authorized to organize the Conference.

2. APPLICATION FOR PARTICIPATION
A. Applications for sponsorship shall be made on the prescribed application form, which shall be submitted to the Organizer. After the submission, Funding Companies should contract a sponsorship agreement with the Organizer. Moreover, the contract fee should be paid in the timeline stipulated in the agreement.
B. Applications for exhibition shall be made on the prescribed application form, which shall be submitted to the Organizer. After the submission, the full payment should be made within 30 days. However, the sponsorship payment is subject to the schedule stipulated in a separate agreement for the sponsorship.
C. All payments should be made via bank transfer.

3. ALLOCATION OF ONLINE BANNER
A. As for the allocation of the sponsor banner location, the priority draw depends on the sponsorship level, deposit payment date, and application date, respectively.
B. In the case of the same grade, exposure in the form of a rolling banner is possible.

4. CANCELLATION OF APPLICATION
A. Funding Companies should make the payment by the due dates. Otherwise, the Organizer has the right to cancel the participation, and the fee paid shall follow the stipulations in the cancellation clause.
B. A notice of any change in agreement or cancellation must be in writing. The cancellation of the sponsorship or refund shall comply with the relevant provisions of a separate sponsorship agreement.
C. For the cancellation of sponsorship items and print advertising, the refund shall be processed as follows.
- Cancellation before Monday, June 1, 2021: 50% refund of the full payment
- Cancellation after Monday, June 1, 2021: Refund unavailable
- No refunds for cancellations may be requested after June 1, 2021.

5. CANCELLATION AND CHANGE
In the event of the cancellation caused by the Organizer, the participation fee paid will be refunded to the Funding Companies. However, the fee will not be refunded if the cancellation and/or changes of size and duration of the Conference are caused by force majeure or exceptional circumstances. In this case, the Funding Companies shall have no claim for compensation with the Organizer.

6. PRODUCT DISCLAIMER
IOHA 2021 does not, in any manner, endorse any products or services related to the sponsors accepted for display during the Conference.

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise provided for in writing, the copyright and other intellectual property rights held over all the Organizer’s offers,
publications, and other products or services shall remain its property.
Any rights that the Organizer may grant are destined for the participant’s sole use and may not be assigned, transferred, or granted under sublicenses without the Organizer’s prior agreement. Granted rights shall be nonexclusive, and the participant shall not acquire any intellectual property right over the services and products offered by the Organizer.

8. TRADEMARKS AND LOGOS
IOHA 2021 partners and sponsors shall be personally responsible for any authorizations relating to copyright or related rights originating from the elements of any nature whatsoever that it provides or uses during the event.
It shall hold the Organizer harmless regarding any action in this respect.
Sponsors are not permitted to use the IOHA 2021 logo without prior agreement. If you plan to use the IOHA 2021 logo for promotional purposes, you must obtain permission from the Organizer.

9. EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY
The platform is delivered over the Internet, and accordingly, it is subject to limitations, delays, and other problems inherent in using the Internet and electronic communication.
Thus, IOHA 2021 shall not be responsible for any delays, delivery failures, viruses, hacker intrusions, or other damages
resulting from such problems.
Moreover, IOHA 2021 makes no representation, warranty, or guarantee regarding the reliability, timeliness, quality, suitability, truth, availability, accuracy, or completeness of the platform.
IOHA 2021 also does not represent or warrant that:
(a) the use of the platform will be secure, uninterrupted, or error-free; or
(b) the platform or servers making the services available are free of viruses or other harmful components.

10. SUPPLEMENTARY CLAUSES
A. Whenever necessary, the Organizer shall have the right to issue supplementary regulations apart from those in the rules and regulations for participation in IOHA 2021.
B. Any additional written regulation instructions shall form part of the rules and regulations for participation in IOHA 2021, and they shall be binding on the Funding Companies.

11. APPLICABLE LAW AND DISPUTES
Any dispute arising out of these conditions and regulations between the Organizer and Funding Companies, including any questions regarding any party’s rights and obligations, shall be referred to and finally resolved by the Daegu Local Court, which holds jurisdiction over the region of the Organizer’s current address.
